Job Summary

The Manufacturing Engineer I supports production by improving processes, increasing efficiency, and ensuring product quality. This role helps develop and implement manufacturing solutions across various products.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in designing and implementing manufacturing processes, tools, and fixtures
  • Help identify and resolve production issues, defects, and assembly challenges
  • Conduct time studies and process analysis to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams
  • Use Power BI to analyze data, identify trends, and provide insights
  • Track and report key metrics such as throughput, efficiency, downtime, and quality
  • Support continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma methods
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
  • Assist in selecting and qualifying new equipment and technologies
  • Perform root cause analysis and support corrective actions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical Engineering, or related field
  • 1–2 years of manufacturing experience (LFA industry preferred)
  • Basic knowledge of assembly, testing, and material handling processes
  • Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus
  • Understanding of Lean and Six Sigma principles
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Power BI preferred
  • Ability to adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
