Contracts Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing supplier relationships, reviewing and negotiating contracts, developing category strategies, and leading the Request for Proposal (RFP) process to ensure optimal value and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate supplier performance to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.

Analyze, negotiate, and manage supplier contracts to maximize value and minimize risk.

Develop and implement effective category strategies aligned with business goals.

Lead and coordinate RFPs, from preparing documentation to supplier evaluation and selection.

Collaborate cross-functionally to understand needs and drive category improvements.

Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for innovation and cost savings.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Category Manager or similar procurement/sourcing role.

Strong negotiation and contract management skills.

Excellent strategic thinking and analytical abilities.

Experience managing RFP processes and supplier relationships.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
