Responsibilities:

•Participate and lead in development efforts in thermal solutions, engage and closely collaborate with suppliers to deliver high quality products
•Identify technology risks, contribute to overall system architecture and optimize Total Cost of Ownership, work with cross functional teams
•Take responsibility for thermal design, including requirements gathering, concepts generation and detailed design, analysis and verification testing, cross-functional reviews
•Design and specification of thermal designs including heat sinks, heat exchangers, fans, thermal controls and all supporting equipment during the product development cycle


Basic Requirements:

•Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Mechanical/Thermal Engineering and with +5 years experience in product design(Server, PC and/or Consumer Electronics a plus)
•Experience in full product cycle from design through qualification, developing specification, and managing suppliers to deliver high quality solutions
•Ability of using 3D CADand FloTherm thermal simulation tools
•Familiar with thermal and acoustic test, and capable of completing the verification independently
•Thermal measurements experience including the use of thermocouples, thermal test vehicles, flow bench, velocity probes, heat balance assessments.
•Component level and system level analyses, experimentation, and design principles, thermal control experience

•Self-motivated and proactive
•Fluent in English language (verbal and written)
