Quality Engineer III

Summary

The Quality Engineer III represents the quality function in providing technical support for global customer accounts. This role partners with internal support groups and customers to address quality issues, drive process improvements, and support manufacturing operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Quality Assurance (QA) plans for global new product introductions using Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Process Optimization.

• Support quoting activities through input on process design, development, and implementation.

• Evaluate and improve inspection processes, including inspection aids and work instructions.

• Develop and deliver specialized training programs for global customer accounts.

• Establish and maintain systems for document storage, access, and review.

• Review supplier, internal, and customer discrepancies; coordinate corrective and preventative actions, and track effectiveness.

• Conduct periodic documentation reviews and ensure timely updates.

• Lead or support supplier quality activities, including vendor surveys and process improvement initiatives.

• Collaborate across departments to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Provide guidance on process improvement and optimization, emphasizing proactive quality methodologies.

• Assist in standardizing manufacturing processes across global customer accounts.

• Interface directly with customers to provide technical support on quality-related issues.

• Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and security policies.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of related quality engineering experience, or equivalent education and experience.

• Liquid cooling experience required.
