Sr. ~ Lead CAD Designer (Payment Terminal)

SUMMARY

Take the major responsibility for ECAD (Layout) for project evaluationand planning,multi-layer PCB Placement, Constraint Setting and Routing, CAD/CAM Inspection and Gerber Tape out. Follow standard procedures to execute and ensure products meet design specifications and quality requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include, but are not limited to the following:

• Estimate ECAD resource and waterfall according to project requirement document and schedule.

• Cooperate with system lead ,TPM and PjM for project schedule/issues tracking.

• Project assistance in solving PCB design engineering problems in PCB vendors and DFx factories.

• Keep study the latest technology and techniques to provide designs that are competitive and cost effective.

• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

• If outsourcing is required, responsible for communication and coordination between outsourcing and in-house team and control the progress and quality.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

• More than 5 years of experience in Payment design products.
• Graduated from electrical or electronic related department.
• Experienced in PCB multi-layer high speed layout and back drilling design, HDIblind buried.
• Experience in developing payment products (such as POS terminals and mobile payment devices)
• Experience in RF / Antenna design.
• Experience in FPC design.
• Careful, patient, good teamwork, communication and coordination skills.
• Experience in MESH design is a plus.
• Experience in Mentor Expedition- VX.2.12software is a plus.
• Familiarity with Layout requirements for secure elements and cryptographic modules is a plus.
• Familiarity with MFG production processes is a plus.
• Familiarity with PCB board manufacturers' TQs and production processes is a plus.
