How will you make an Impact? -

Working under general supervision and instruction, performs a variety of moderately difficult assignments requiring judgment to resolve. You will support the manufacturing process Surface Mount Technology (SMT) equipment, troubleshoot production issues, and ensure optimal machine performance during operations to meet production targets.

What Will You Do?-

● Monitor SMT line performance, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency, quality, and yield.
●     Applies substantial understanding of the job, knowledge and skill to complete a wide range of tasks. Receives little work instruction on daily work and general instructions on newly introduced assignments.
●      Calibrate equipment using general and special purpose test equipment.
●      Maintain sufficient data to develop process improvement initiatives.
●      May assist in the development of work procedures.
●      May maintain and store backup information for all critical production equipment software systems.
●      Provide technical support to production operators, offering guidance and training on SMT equipment operation and basic troubleshooting.
●      Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
●      May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

How Will You Get here? -

Education:

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, is required

Experience:

●      Five (5) to eight (8) years prior work experience in SMT Equipment and Programming

KNOWLEDGE, Skills and Abilities:

●      Knowledge of company policies and procedures to complete assigned tasks, including understanding of safety practices requirements.

●      Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word and PowerPoint and e-mail). 

●  Use of specialized programs

●  Familiarity with IPC standards and quality control principles

●  Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

●  Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

●Strong understanding of SMT processes, equipment operation, and common defects

Preferred Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in SMT Equipment and Programming is preferred

• Manufacturing experience is a plus

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics or other technical field is preferred

The hourly pay range for this role is $29.86 - $53.80. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
