Healthcare Automation Engineer

Job Purpose

Support the development, maintenance, and improvement of automated manufacturing equipment used in healthcare production. Ensure reliable operation of robotics and automation systems while driving efficiency, quality, and safety improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Support installation, start-up, and optimisation of automation equipment.

• Program and troubleshoot industrial robots (FANUC or similar).

• Integrate robots with injection moulding and other production equipment.

• Assist with PLC-controlled systems and basic automation troubleshooting.

• Investigate equipment issues and implement corrective actions.

• Participate in equipment validation and testing activities.

• Drive productivity, quality, and process improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with safety and quality requirements.

• Provide technical support and training to operators and technicians.

Qualifications

• Degree in Automation, Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or manufacturing equipment.

• Knowledge of FANUC robots or similar systems.

• Basic understanding of PLCs and automated production systems.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Good English communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Experience with injection moulding equipment.

• Knowledge of machine vision systems.

• Experience in medical, pharmaceutical, or automotive manufacturing.

• Lean, Six Sigma, or automation-related training.
