How Will You Make an Impact?
As a CNC Operator II, at our Grand Junction, CO facility, you will operate various CNC machine tools including multi-axis mills or lathes.
Location: On-site at our Grand Junction, CO facility
Shift: Friday - Sunday, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
What Will You Do?
- Operate CNC mills and lathes.
- Utilize inspection equipment to check accuracy of work, in accordance with blueprint specifications.
- Complete all job-related paperwork, accurately, per requirements.
- Maintain equipment and work area on a daily basis in a clean and orderly condition.
- Follow prescribed work rules and standard safety regulations at all times.
- Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others
- Coordinate with supervisor and other team members to meet production schedule demands.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
How Will You Get Here?
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Basic shop math skills.
- Familiarity with CNC operation.
- Ability to read job instructions and blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills, verbal and written.
- Physical ability to operate machines including bending, stretching, squatting, and climbing to access all parts of the machine.
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, and stretching.
- Must be able to lift 35 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments (at times).
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Secondary School, Technical Certificate, or Degree, preferred
- Manual machining experience a plus.
This position requires use of information which is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). To conform to U.S. Government export regulations/ITAR, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
The hourly pay range for this role is $16.30 - $29.33. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: June 01, 2026.
