Summary of Position
The Human Resources Intern will support the Human Resources team at Jabil by assisting with day-to-day HR administrative and operational activities. This role is designed to provide hands-on exposure to core Human Resources processes, including employee lifecycle administration, HR systems, reporting, and employee support, while working closely with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, and Operations leaders.
Intern Duties & Responsibilities
- Support Human Resources Administrators and Generalists with employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, employee data changes, and employee file maintenance
- Assist with maintaining accurate employee records in HR systems in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements
- Partner with HR team members to prepare HR documentation, reports, and audit materials
- Provide frontline support by responding to basic employee HR inquiries, escalating complex matters to HR Generalists or HR Business Partners as needed
- Support coordination of HR activities such as new hire orientation, training logistics, and employee engagement initiatives
- Assist with HR metrics tracking and reporting related to headcount, attendance, turnover, and compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Operations, Payroll, Talent Acquisition, and other support teams to ensure seamless HR service delivery
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance HR administrative efficiency and process accuracy
