The Product Deployment Manager is responsible for bridging the gap beween completed prototypes and mass production, ensuring that

products are ready for launch at Mikros Technologies mass production sites worldwide. This role coordinates with cross-functional internal teams, clients and external vendors through the final stages of mechanical engineering design, development planning, and validation cycles, preparing innovative thermal management products and systems for successful manufacturing roll-out.

This is a new role for Mikros Technologies. It is expected that this role will involve future leadership as we build a team to execute these initiatives for multiple customers and products manufactured at multiple sites worldwide. This role will report to the Director of Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
• Participate in the strategic execution of the final stages of Mikros Product Design, ensuring that new prototypes, once built and tested by our NPI team, can be produced at scale and align with the technical and business objectives of the program.
• Drive the transition of liquid cooling system prototypes to mass production by championing design for manufacturability and ensuring seamless integration of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing objectives.
• Lead the development, management, and execution of project schedules with a focus on ramping prototypes to high-volume manufacturing, ensuring all critical milestones for mass production readiness are achieved.
• Contribute to DFM initiatives with an emphasis on scaling production, proactively identifying cost drivers and implementing strategies for cost-effective mass manufacturing of liquid cooling systems.
• Facilitate clear, consistent communication and alignment between Product Design, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and customers to ensure a unified approach to scaling prototypes for mass production launch.
• Provide decisive leadership during pilot and ramp phases, ensuring timely procurement and delivery of components, rapid resolution of production issues, and robust validation plans to support mass production readiness.
• Oversee and optimize the part release process, including participation in document control initiatives, ensuring that design updates and releases are timed and executed to support production ramp plans, with teams held accountable for meeting aggressive release and production deadlines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and external vendors in the successful transition from prototype builds to mass production, focusing on process scalability, quality assurance, and supply chain robustness for liquid cooling systems.

Minimum Qualifications
• Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
• Flexibility and calm in the face of ambiguity and demanding project schedules
• Ability to lead a team of 10 people or more (future need)
• Ability to distill relevant information and communicate strategically to accomplish program objectives across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities
• Thorough understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and Design for Manufacturing Principles
• Ability to prioritize tasks according to program value and execute tasks efficiently, both individually, as a team member, and as a team leader.
• Ability to collaborate with and lead others who may or may not report directly to you
• Create, manage, be accountable to and provide accountability for project schedules.
• Provide timely issue resolution and critical path management.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Deep experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) project management and mechanical engineering
• Ability to travel/work domestically and internationally

Preferred Qualifications
• Training in Manufacturing Process optimization and Project Management Tools
• Experience collaborating and facilitating communication across Design
Engineering, Operations, Business Teams and Customers to meet aggressive schedule and quality goals.
• Ability to independently track projects through rapid development cycles and deliver production-ready products.
• Detailed knowledge of product development processes and strong understanding of design and manufacturing processes.
• Ability to understand technical issues and drive them to closure by bringing together key partners for decision making.
• Experience providing project status updates across a wide spectrum of contributors and to executive management.
