Summary of Position

Jabil is seeking a Server Platform Intern who will directly contribute to the transformative growth within our Enterprise and Infrastructure division by applying unique and innovative approaches to solving problems of server solutions for our customers.  You will be responsible for contributing to the end-to-end definition, development and customer sample validation of server and rack level solutions spanning multiple customers and manufacturing regions.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor to lead systems engineering / management, guiding customer solutions focusing on application, storage, and networking performance.
  • Perform system assembly, system-level validation, and debug of server platforms to support customer samples and solution validation.
  • Involvement in maintenance release activities.
  • Ensure timely and successful delivery of customer samples, data analysis and validation activities.
  • Design and develop customer sample systems and define activities required to transition solutions to mass production.
  • Provide onsite and ongoing customer support, including issue resolution and technical guidance.
  • Manage and track firmware, BIOS, and BMC updates.

Qualifications

Major(s): Systems, Software or Harward Engineering

Class Year(s): Rising Senior or recent Graduates

GPA: Min 3.0

Availability: Must be available to work in Jabil Austin office from May 17, 2027– Aug 6, 2027

Technical Skills

  • Working knowledge of server products including embedded remote management standards, interfaces and applications.
  • Expertise with Linux operating systems, related applications and script development.
  • Effective Communication
