Position Title

RF Repair Technician

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repair and troubleshooting of RF boards for 4G / 5G products, including Massive MIMO, AIR, and RU systems
  • Diagnose RF signal chain issues, including but not limited to:
    • PA (Power Amplifier), LNA (Low Noise Amplifier), TRX, and RF Front-End modules
  • Conduct RF performance validation using test equipment, including:
    • EVM, ACPR, VSWR, and other key RF parameters
  • Support failure analysis (FA) and provide preliminary root cause insights
  • Participate in repair activities during NPI and mass production phases
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Test, Quality, Engineering) to drive issue resolution
  • Follow ESD and production procedures to ensure repair quality and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or technical background in Electronics, Telecommunications, or related fields preferred
  • Basic knowledge of RF principles, with experience in:
    • 5G NR or LTE systems (preferred)
    • OTA or Conducted testing (preferred)
  • Experience in PCBA/Board-level repair (1–3+ years preferred)
  • Ability to read schematics and use basic test instruments
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical mindset
  • Prior experience in manufacturing/EMS environment is a plus
  • Good teamwork and communication skills, able to work in a fast-paced production environment

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)

  • Experience with Ericsson products (AIR / RU / Massive MIMO)
  • Familiarity with 5G RF test methodologies
  • Understanding of automated test systems (e.g., test scripts, test blobs)
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams (Test/Quality/Engineering)
  • Hands-on experience with RF test equipment (e.g., Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz)
