Senior Sales Manager – Defense & Aerospace
Location: Remote US
Business Unit: Jabil Defense & Aerospace Services (JDAS)
Travel Requirement: 50%+
Clearance: Active security clearance preferred

Position Summary
Jabil’s Defense & Aerospace Business Unit is seeking a Senior Sales Manager to drive early-stage pipeline development and strategic growth across key accounts. This role is responsible for identifying and capturing new business opportunities, expanding existing customer relationships, and improving win rates to accelerate sector growth. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a proven track record in complex sales cycles, particularly within the aerospace and defense ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead opportunity creation and early pipeline development across targeted defense and aerospace accounts.
- Expand organic growth within existing JDAS customers by identifying new program opportunities and increasing wallet share.
- Develop and present compelling value propositions to stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives.
- Collaborate with the Director of Sales and cross-functional teams to define and execute strategic sales plans.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure, ensuring alignment with JDAS growth objectives.
- Utilize CRM tools to manage pipeline, forecast revenue, and track performance metrics.
- Mentor and support other sales managers within the business unit, fostering a high-performance sales culture.
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the development of sector-wide growth strategies.
- Represent Jabil at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to build brand awareness and strengthen relationships.
- Support proposal development, pricing strategies, and contract negotiations in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in sales, business development, or account management within the aerospace and defense industry.
- Demonstrated success in identifying, pursuing, and closing complex, high-value deals.
- Deep understanding of the defense and aerospace market landscape, including OEMs, primes, and government agencies.
- Strong commercial acumen, including experience with pricing models, margin analysis, and contract structures.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience with consultative or solution-based selling methodologies.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with engineering, operations, and executive leadership.
- Active security clearance is highly desirable.

The pay range for this role is $135,700 - $244,300. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity. The anticipated close date of this job requisition is: January 05, 2026.
As part of the total rewards package, this position is eligible for a short-term incentive based on performance. In addition, Jabil offers benefits to enhance your health, wealth, and resilient self. These include medical, dental, and vision insurance plans; paid time off accruing at a rate of 3.07 hours during your first year of employment; 4 weeks of paid parental leave; in 2026, 11 company-paid holidays (9 fixed holidays and 2 optional floating holidays), subject to change yearly; 401(k) retirement plan; and employee stock purchase plan.
