Job Description:

Planner II positions offered by Jabil Inc. (Grantsville, Utah). Develop and analyze logistics information through a collaborative Demand Plan using the proper execution of the Demand Management Process. Develop a feasible Master Schedule in Material Requirements Planning (“MRP”) through resource analysis including review of material sizing and capacity sizing and implement the Master Schedule utilizing Jabil Enterprise Resources Planning system. Develop and maintain a feasible production plan and collaborate with the Operations team to successfully execute the plan. Develop revenue forecast and closely monitor targets against actual performance to ensure immediate corrective actions and recovery plans can be executed in the event there is potential to miss a revenue target. Monitor planning metrics and drive for continuous improvement. Serve as a Workcell expert by planning activities and ensuring all Production Planner goals are being met, i.e., products have valid POs, adequate material quantities, as well as an accurate BOM and routing. Own the build schedule, corrections and resolution of MPS to customer demand and plan tactics on deadlines for assemblies out of the various work areas on the floor, deadline for last shipment, and support plan for potential RMAs. Assess production schedules daily in collaboration with the Workcell and manufacturing teams (adjusting as necessary based on production results) to optimize run quantities and minimize changeovers to help achieve 100% on time delivery. Maintain the Workcells capacity planning model and drive resolutions on uneven capacities to keep Jabil focused on the customer and efficiently utilizing manufacturing resources. Support customer’s business needs using standard process where possible and customized solutions where necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. Must have experience in each of the following: Working with SAP, Rapid Response, and MS Excel; Conducting customer demand management and analysis; Planning Key Performance Indicator (KPI) management; Creating and coordinating shipping plans to match customer demand; Conducting production planning. In lieu of a master’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and experience as stated, employer will accept a bachelor’s or foreign equivalent degree in the aforementioned fields and 2 years of experience as stated, or, alternatively, in lieu of a degree, company will accept 4 years of experience as stated. Experience may be, but need not be, acquired concurrently.
