Job Summary
The Automation Technician I at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automated manufacturing equipment and systems, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability.

Job Responsibilities
* Perform routine preventative maintenance on automated production lines, robots, and other manufacturing equipment.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new automation equipment and systems.
* Troubleshoot and diagnose basic electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues in automated machinery.
* Replace faulty components, including sensors, motors, and wiring, under supervision.
* Calibrate and adjust automation equipment to meet production specifications.
* Document maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance.
* Support engineers and senior technicians in complex automation projects.
* Adhere to all safety protocols and company regulations.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to automation processes.
* Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Job Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate's degree or technical certification in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field preferred.
* 0-2 years of experience in an industrial maintenance or automation support role.
* Basic understanding of electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and pneumatic diagrams.
* Familiarity with common hand tools and basic power tools.
* Ability to learn and apply fundamental troubleshooting techniques.
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Willingness to work OT on the weekends.
