***This role is a 12-hour rotating Night Shift, 2-2-3 Continental Shift, 645pm to 7am***

JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for the preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of production equipment and facility systems to ensure continuous operation during night shifts.

Job Responsibilities**

* Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on injection molding machines, automated assembly equipment, and other production machinery.
* Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems failures.
* Troubleshoot complex equipment issues, utilizing schematics, manuals, and diagnostic tools.
* Conduct routine inspections of equipment and facility infrastructure, identifying and addressing potential problems.
* Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
* Document all maintenance activities, including repairs, parts used, and time spent, in a CMMS system.
* Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
* Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and maintenance processes.
* Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely resolution to minimize production interruptions.

EDUCATION AND MINIMUM EXPERIENCE

* High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electro-Mechanical Technology, or a related field preferred.
* 3-5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within a manufacturing environment (plastics/injection molding experience highly desired).
* Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems.
* Solid understanding of electrical systems, including schematics, PLC troubleshooting (basic understanding), and motor controls.
* Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
* Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
* Proficiency with various hand and power tools, as well as diagnostic equipment.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
* Must be able to work night shifts and occasional weekends as needed.
* Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and 5S methodology is a plus.

The hourly pay range for this role is $23.89 - $43.03. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
