JOB SUMMARY This position will be responsible for administering and ensuring compliance of the global operations with all applicable US and local country export and import regulations and security regulations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned) ·          Responsible for SAP-GTS development and implementation and provide support on developing working manual and training. ·          Work with the Regional Trade Compliance Managers in developing and managing coordinated and common import and export processes ·          Monitor, audit and assess the trade compliance performance of all global operations and devising corrective actions and personnel training as required. ·          Ensure that all company sites and operations are fully compliant with US trade and local country trade requirements ·          Develop practical and implantable trade compliance procedures. Work with regions in driving process implementation ·          Identifies areas of trade compliance risks, conducts risk assessments and develops action plans to eliminate and/or mitigate risks. ·          Build and maintain positive relationships with US regional Customs & Border Protection, Export Bureau and other applicable government agencies ·          Develop Trade Compliance training modules for site operations. ·          Organize and conduct training compliance training sessions to meet all applicable local country and US requirements. ·          Develop and manage global trade web portal for internal use. ·          Drive local implementation of corporate customs and export processes. Conduct audits to verify processes are properly followed and effective. ·          Support SC Network Design team, Business Units and sites on all trade compliance issues ·          Support 4PL Service development, planning, operation, and business ·          Develop specific process and procedures to support 4PL services from the logistics and trade ·          Develop and 4PL system requirements and work with IT to meet these requirements ·          Develop logistic and trade process and procedures to support 4PL service offering ·          Support 4PL service offering business development ·          Hire and manage necessary resources to manage 4PL services ·          Responsible for TMS development specific to each internal and external customers with their specific requirements ·          Support IPO development and management from the Trade Compliance ·          Provide necessary process and manual to support IPO sites/countries/regions JOB QUALIFICATIONSKNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS ·         Excellent communication skills ·         Possess ability to analyze and interpret Export and Customs’ regulations and customer requirements. ·         Leadership/people-management skills ·         Knowledge of Import, Export and Security operations and regulations ·         Manage multiple projects simultaneously. ·         Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry. ·         Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable company’s business goals and objectives with ability to devise and implement strategy to achieve targets. ·         Strong financial and analytical ability. Proficiency in managing business analytics to determine optimum company footprint. ·         Strong knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes as well as global customs regimes. ·         Proven track record of successful change management accomplishments, implementing and management continuous productivity and cost reduction programs. ·         Strong and convincing communication skills. ·         Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS ·         Bachelor's Degree required. Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain, or International Management preferred. ·         Four (4) years work-related experience required in Business, Supply Chain, or Compliance. ·         Experience in U.S. trade compliance and government security administration. ·         Experience in export and import compliance positions. ·         Or a combination of education, experience and/or training.
