Job Summary
As a Lead Test Development Engineer at Jabil, Inc., you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automated test solutions for complex electronic products. This role involves guiding a team, ensuring test strategies align with product requirements, and optimizing test processes for efficiency and reliability throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities
* Lead and mentor a team of test development engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
* Design, develop, and implement comprehensive test plans, strategies, and procedures for new and existing products, focusing on automation.
* Select, specify, and integrate test equipment, fixtures, and software platforms.
* Develop and debug test scripts and programs using various programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, LabVIEW).
* Collaborate closely with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to define test requirements and ensure testability.
* Conduct root cause analysis of test failures and implement corrective actions.
* Optimize test processes for efficiency, yield, and cost-effectiveness.
* Generate and maintain detailed test documentation, including test specifications, reports, and validation records.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives in test methodologies and technologies.
* Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and internal quality procedures.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
* 7+ years of experience in test development engineering, with at least 2 years in a leadership or senior role.
* Strong proficiency in programming languages commonly used in test automation (e.g., Python, C#, LabVIEW).
* Extensive experience with various test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.
* Solid understanding of analog and digital circuit design and debug techniques.
* Experience with PCBA functional testing, in-circuit testing (ICT), and system-level testing.
* Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques.
* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively mentor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
