Inventory Control Associate

Jabil is looking to hire an Inventory Control Associate for its Brandywine location in West Chester, PA. 

How will you make an impact? A Inventory Control Associate with Jabil helps to handle and maintain the flow of materials and products in the manufacturing areas according to established guidelines.

What will you do?

• Own all material movement to stock including dock to stock, material requisition order (MRO), floor returns, and system transactions done by scanner or computer.

• Receive purchased materials/ services from shipping companies. Ensure all corresponding documentation is correct.

• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries/pickups.

• Distribute materials/product/tooling to appropriate areas.

• Record all necessary transactions in SAP

• Know and follow all laws and policies that apply to one’s job and maintain the highest levels of professionalism, ethics and compliance at all times.

• Issue all material from stock including transfers, kits, manual pulls, highly marketable parts (HMP) and system transactions done by scanner or computer.

• Ensure accuracy by performing all transactions correctly and verifying whenever necessary.

• Cycle count whenever necessary.

• Ensure that assigned area is clean and organized.

• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor.

• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.

How will you get here? 

Education & Experience: 

• High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• At least 1 year of experience working in an Inventory Control department is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: 

• Computer skills required, with knowledge of Microsoft Products and SAP experience preferred.

• Experience with driving forklifts is strongly preferred.

• Willingness to work overtime when needed.

• Ability to multi-task and be detail oriented.

• Strong communicator, both verbal and written.
