Procurement Intern

Objectives:
Improvement Projects: Support in the development of departmental improvement projects (e.g., PBI - GIP Customer Landscape Mapping).
Supplier Data: Detailed review of solder and chemical supplier information to detect anomalies in the data or incorrect pricing.
RFQ - RFI: Support in requested quotations/information from vendors as a support to the Commodity Manager in projects.

Deliverable:
Solder Data Collection: Support with the cleaning and consolidation of information for each file by region, as well as the follow-up and confirmation of the data with each buyer.
Excel: Develop and implement the use of a tool, macro, pivot table, or automation based on support activities.

Technical Knowledge:

• Conversational English, reading, listening and writing comprehension. Intermediate to advanced level.
• Knowledge of basic processes in foreign trade, international business, supply chain, and purchasing processes.
• Handling of basic or advanced Office tools, PBI (optional).
• Excel (Required).

Strengths and Skills:

• Resilience and adaptability in tasks of low and medium complexity.
• Personal and professional organization in tracking objectives and requested activities.
• High level of prompt response and willingness to work in a team (good communication).
• Interest in negotiations and the global supply chain.
