Business Unit Director – Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure

Location:Austin, TX
Reports To:Senior Business Unit Director

We are seeking a dynamic and strategicBusiness Unit Directorto lead our Data Center & Cloud Infrastructure (DCI) business segment. This role is responsible for driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence across a portfolio of global customers, with a strong focus on mechanical and electrical systems supporting data center environments. The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical acumen, customer-centric leadership, and business strategy to deliver innovative solutions and long-term value.

What can you expect to do?

  • Strategic Leadership & Growth

    • Own full P&L accountability for a multi-site, global customer base.
    • Develop and execute strategic plans to expand market share and drive organic growth.
    • Lead customer acquisition efforts, targeting expansion within the DCI segment.
  • Customer Relationship Management

    • Serve as the executive sponsor for key accounts, managing high-level relationships and strategic roadmaps.
    • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) and ensure alignment with customer expectations and SLAs.
    • Negotiate and manage complex contracts and service agreements.
  • Technical & Operational Excellence

    • Provide technical leadership in thermal, mechanical, and power systems relevant to data center infrastructure.
    • Support facility setup, readiness, and ongoing production across multiple Jabil sites.
    • Ensure operational delivery meets or exceeds SLA commitments, driving continuous improvement.
  • Team & Organizational Development

    • Define and build a high-performing business unit team structure.
    • Lead, mentor, and develop cross-functional teams to support customer and business objectives.
    • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Market & Industry Insight

    • Stay ahead of industry trends and customer needs in the data center and cloud infrastructure space.
    • Translate market insights into actionable strategies and product offerings.

What is the experience needed to be successful in this role?

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum of15+ years of experiencein business operations and management of cross-functional teams.
  • 4+ years of direct people managementexperience preferred.
  • Strong technical background inthermal, mechanical, power, and cooling systems, or other applicable infrastructure technologies.
