Jabil, Inc. is seeking a skilled Packaging Engineer to design, develop, and optimize packaging solutions for our diverse product portfolio, ensuring product integrity, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability throughout the supply chain.

Job Responsibilities:**
* Design and develop innovative packaging solutions for new and existing products, considering material properties, manufacturing processes, and shipping requirements.
* Conduct packaging material selection, testing, and qualification to meet performance, cost, and environmental objectives.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including R&D, manufacturing, supply chain, and marketing to integrate packaging into the overall product development lifecycle.
* Develop and maintain packaging specifications, BOMs (Bills of Material), and other relevant documentation.
* Perform root cause analysis of packaging-related issues and implement corrective and preventative actions.
* Optimize packaging designs for cost reduction, improved efficiency, and reduced environmental impact.
* Stay abreast of industry trends, new materials, and technologies in packaging and apply relevant advancements.
* Evaluate and approve packaging designs from suppliers and ensure adherence to Jabil standards.
* Participate in supplier selection and qualification processes for packaging materials and services.
* Support sustainability initiatives by identifying opportunities for eco-friendly packaging solutions.

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
