SUMMARY OF POSITION
Jabil is seeking an intern to join our Global Trade Compliance Legal team at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. This position offers practical experience supporting trade compliance matters including export controls, sanctions, customs regulations, and related policy development. The intern will assist in legal research, analysis, and document drafting related to U.S. and international laws and regulations.
This internship is intended for a law student (2L/3L) or recent law graduate interested in regulatory or international trade law.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct legal research on U.S. and international trade compliance regulations.
- Draft and review memoranda, summaries, and compliance documentation.
- Support attorneys in reviewing and interpreting export control and sanction laws.
- Participate in internal meetings and assist in preparing legal materials and presentations.
- Monitor regulatory updates and assist with compliance risk assessments.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
- Must be available to work full-time, on-site in St. Petersburg, Florida from May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026
- Education: 2L/3L law student or recent J.D. graduate with interest in international trade compliance.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
