Position Overview

Jabil is seeking a technically strong and business-focused Senior IT Manager to provide global leadership for our identity, authentication and collaboration platforms within IT Operations.

These platforms—including Identity and Access Management, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory and related services—are foundational to employee productivity, secure access and reliable global operations.

The role will coordinate the existing service delivery teams, establish common priorities and lead cross-platform initiatives, particularly M&A integrations, automation, standardization and security enhancements.

The successful candidate will strengthen portfolio-level leadership while preserving the established ownership and technical authority of the existing service managers and their teams. The candidate must also understand the broader infrastructure environment, including networking, servers, storage and cloud services, and how identity and collaboration platforms support global manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy and Platform Leadership

  • Define and execute the global strategy and roadmap for identity, authentication and collaboration platforms.
  • Provide end-to-end operational accountability across IAM, Microsoft 365 and related enterprise services.
  • Coordinate established service delivery teams and align priorities, roadmaps, investments and dependencies.
  • Ensure alignment with broader infrastructure strategies covering networking, servers, storage and cloud.
  • Lead platform modernization, consolidation and retirement of legacy technologies.
  • Translate business and technical requirements into secure, scalable and supportable platform capabilities.
  • Drive continuous improvement in reliability, user experience, automation and cost efficiency.

Identity and Access Management

  • Oversee identity lifecycle management, including joiner, mover and leaver processes.
  • Ensure reliable delivery of authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, federation and directory services.
  • Partner with HR, Information Security and application teams to improve identity governance and access provisioning.
  • Support privileged-access, conditional-access, access-certification and identity-governance capabilities.
  • Maintain appropriate controls for service accounts, administrative identities and application integrations.
  • Ensure identity services are resilient, auditable and capable of supporting Jabil’s global operations.
  • Support identity and authentication requirements across on-premises infrastructure, cloud services, manufacturing systems and appropriate OT use cases.

Microsoft 365 and Collaboration

  • Provide leadership for Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive and related collaboration technologies.
  • Establish governance for collaboration, external sharing, platform lifecycle and service configuration.
  • Lead platform modernization, optimization and user-experience improvements.
  • Govern and support emerging capabilities such as Microsoft Copilot, AI-enabled collaboration, Power Automate and intelligent workflows.

  • Drive automation of provisioning, reporting, access reviews, audit activities and routine administrative processes.
  • Support integrations between identity platforms, Microsoft 365, HR systems, cloud services, SaaS platforms and enterprise applications.
  • Ensure effective integration with network, server, storage and cloud infrastructure.
  • Encourage the use of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph, APIs and other automation technologies.
  • Establish reusable engineering standards and reduce manual operational work.
  • Ensure technical solutions are scalable, supportable and appropriately documented.

Service Delivery and Operational Excellence

  • Ensure reliable operation and support of all platforms within scope.
  • Establish consistent incident, problem, change, release, availability and capacity-management practices.
  • Provide leadership during major incidents and recurring cross-platform problems.
  • Drive root-cause analysis and long-term corrective actions.
  • Define and monitor service levels, operational KPIs, platform health and user-experience measures.
  • Ensure appropriate monitoring, documentation, support models and escalation procedures are maintained.

  • Ensure that changes affecting factories are properly assessed, communicated, tested and scheduled to minimize production risk.
  • Partner with OT and Information Security teams on appropriate access controls, segmentation principles and support models.
  • Provide leadership during incidents where identity, collaboration or infrastructure services affect manufacturing operations.

M&A Integration and Separation

  • Lead identity, collaboration and related infrastructure workstreams for acquisitions, divestitures and organizational integrations.
