Summary of Position

Jabil is seeking an intern to join our Global Trade Compliance Legal team at our headquarters in St. Petersburg, Florida. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience with international trade law in a global business environment and see how evolving trade rules impact real-world business decisions and global supply chains. The intern will support matters involving import and customs law, export controls, economic sanctions, and other international trade requirements, while assisting with legal research, analysis, regulatory developments, and drafting.


This internship is intended for a law student (2L/3L) or recent law graduate interested in regulatory or international trade law.


Intern Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conduct legal research on U.S. and international trade compliance laws and regulations.
  • Draft and review memoranda, summaries, and compliance documentation.
  • Support attorneys in reviewing and interpreting import and customs laws, export controls, and economic sanctions.
  • Participate in internal meetings and assist in preparing legal materials and presentations.
  • Monitor regulatory updates and assist with compliance risk assessments.

Qualifications

Class Year(s): 2L/3L law student or recent law graduate

GPA: Min 3.0

Availability: Must be available to work in St. Petersburg Florida from May 17, 2027– Aug 6, 2027

Technical Skills: Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
