●Monitor inspection activities and offer assistance to assure adherence to quality control, procedures, instructions and workmanship standards.

●Assure that all inspection tools, gauges, visual aids, are in proper working order and of the latest revision.

●Assign daily activities of quality assurance operators and evaluate their effectiveness.

●Co-ordinate, direct and participate in the activities of the quality assurance department.

●Replace QA inspectors in the daily job function when there is absenteeism.
