Job Summary**

The Quality Jr. Engineer III at Jabil, Inc. supports the implementation and maintenance of quality systems, processes, and standards. This role assists in ensuring product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements throughout the product lifecycle.

Job Responsibilities**

* Participate in the development, implementation, and improvement of quality control plans and procedures.
* Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues and propose corrective and preventive actions.
* Assist in the preparation and execution of internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with ISO standards and other relevant regulations.
* Collect and analyze quality data, identifying trends and reporting on key quality metrics.
* Support the inspection and testing of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., manufacturing, engineering, supply chain) to resolve quality-related problems.
* Assist in the documentation and control of quality records, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
* Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring quality considerations are integrated early in the design phase.
* Provide training and guidance on quality standards and procedures to production personnel.
* Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall product quality and operational efficiency.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical) or a related technical field.
* 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role within a manufacturing environment.
* Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100, ISO 13485).
* Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, FMEA, SPC).
* Proficiency in data analysis and basic statistical methods.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).regu
