Job Summary
As a Molding Jr. Engineer I at Jabil, Inc., you will support the manufacturing team in the development, optimization, and troubleshooting of injection molding processes to ensure high-quality production. This entry-level role provides an opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Job Responsibilities
* Assist senior engineers in the setup, optimization, and validation of injection molding processes.
* Conduct experiments and collect data to analyze molding parameters and identify areas for improvement.
* Support the troubleshooting of molding defects and implement corrective actions.
* Participate in the design and modification of molds, fixtures, and tooling.
* Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.
* Document process parameters, engineering changes, and troubleshooting efforts.
* Learn and apply lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Adhere to all safety regulations and quality standards.
* Perform other duties as assigned to support the engineering department.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Plastics Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
* Basic understanding of injection molding principles and plastic materials is preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Familiarity with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is a plus.
* Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision after initial training.
