JOB DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY
The IT Support Technician IIis responsible forproviding technicalassistancein both office and production environments at the Ottawa, Ontario facility. This full-time, on-site position involves troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues,andsupportingstaff with day-to-day IT needs.The rolerequireseffective communication, collaboration, and a strong commitment to customer service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and resolve technical problems for end-users in both office and production environments.
Respond promptly to help desk tickets and provide front-line technical support for hardware, software, andbasicnetwork-related issues.
Assistwith setup, maintenance, and configuration of desktops, laptops, printers, and related equipment.
Utilize ServiceNow to manage incidents, service requests, and asset tracking.
Document technical solutions, keep records current, and helpmaintainIT knowledge base articles.
Follow ITIL best practices in incident, problem, and change management to uphold servicedeliverystandardsand drive continuous improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges as needed.
Support Fuji Nexim production systems (experience with Fuji Nexim is considered an asset).
Ensure compliance with company safety, security, and quality protocolsat all times.
Provide occasional after-hourssupport for urgent IT matters.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
Ability toidentify, analyze, and resolve technical issues efficiently using structured troubleshooting methods and clear communication.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects and adhering to established timelines.
Strong time management skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks in dynamic environments.
Demonstrateaccountability and integrity in all aspects of work, including handling sensitive information.
Experience with VOIP systems, ServiceNow, CMDB, Microsoft Active Directory, Mac OS, and local area networks is considered an asset.
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word) is essential.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High School diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in IT or related field considered an asset.
English istheprimary language of communication for this role.
Minimum three (3) years of experience in desktop or IT support or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
CompTIA A+or Network +Certificationsor equivalentknowledgeare considered an asset.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and work at a computer workstation.
Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 20lbs.(occasionally up to 50lbsasrequired).
Comfortable moving and transporting computer equipment, including monitors, cables, and peripherals.
Work is performed in both office and manufacturing environments, withappropriate safetyprotocols in place.

Full-time on site standardbusiness hours. Someadditionalhours may berequired.
Work is performed intemperature-controlledofficeand manufacturing environments.
