SUMMARY
Plan, coordinate, and implement security measures to safeguard against accidental or unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Conduct daily follow-ups on pending tasks; (As the facility is a bonded zone) verify site patrols and cargo security, confirm material flow, and inspect physical security measures;
- Organize security personnel training and assessments, and audit security-related irregularities; verify outbound shipments;
- Conduct roll calls for external security personnel at shift changes; perform duty patrols during peak periods for employee commuting and meal breaks;
- Handle employee disciplinary issues and address abnormal situations occurring within the facility;
- Perform routine checks on security gates and verify the operational status of security screening equipment.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Associate’s degree in related field preferred; six months to one year experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Open to fresh graduates; training will be provided.
- Able to adapt to shift work and overtime;
- Possesses a positive work attitude, a conscientious approach to tasks, and strong communication and teamwork skills;
- Requires experience in the security industry and at least one year of team management experience; familiar with the operation of fire safety, security, and related equipment; capable of formulating emergency response plans and organizing drills;
- Proficient in staff scheduling, performance assessment, client communication, and basic business writing;
- Capable of working under pressure and handling sudden incidents calmly.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to walk, and to lift and carry PC’s and test equipment weighing up to 15lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and use of computer monitor screens a great deal of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Individual’s primary workstation is located in the office area, with some time spent each day on the manufacturing floor. The noise level in the work environment ranges from low to moderate.
