SUMMARY OF PROGRAM

Jabil’s Summer Internship Program was recognized as one of the Top 100 Internship Programs in the country for 2025 by WayUp. This is the result of a holistic and engaging experience that summer interns at Jabil experience. As a result, interns that are a part of this program for summer 2026 will get to engage with members of Jabil’s leadership team and participate in events related to professional development, networking & socializing, and community engagement. In addition, interns will have the opportunity to work with each other in committees, be assigned a mentor, tour some of Jabil’s facilities and much more! SUMMARY OF POSITION

The IT Associate Internwill support Jabil’s IT teams in maintaining the functionality, efficiency, and reliability of the organization’s technology ecosystem. This role is designed to provide exposure to a wide range of IT functions including technology support, systems management, data security, documentation, and project coordination. The intern will work closely under the guidance of experienced IT professionals, contributing to daily operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing foundational technical and professional skills.

INTERN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with technical and administrative tasks to support the functionality of IT systems and processes.

  • Collaborate with IT team members To support departmental standards and performance.

  • Provide support to end users by following established processes and delivering a positive customer experience.

  • Help maintain documentation of systems, processes, procedures, and user support activities.

  • Participate in improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce redundancy, and increase efficiency.

  • Support IT project activities including meeting coordination, task tracking, and basic implementation steps.

  • Assist with maintaining compliance with IT policies, data security guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.

  • Shadow team members, ask questions, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Major(s): Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering

  • Class Year: Rising Junior, Rising Senior

  • GPA: Min 3.0

  • Availability: Must be available to work in Hunt Valley, MD from May 18, 2026 - August 7, 2026

  • Basic proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Business acumen and understanding of how IT supports organizational strategy.
  • Effective Communication

  • Self-starter – Ability to drive work

  • Leadership Skills: Agility, Building Trusting Relationships, Decision Making Skills, & Resilience

The hourly pay range for this role is $16.00 - $32.00. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
