Job Summary:**

The Quality Engineer (QE) at Jabil, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the quality of products and processes through the application of quality engineering principles and methodologies. This role involves participating in product development cycles, implementing quality control systems, and driving continuous improvement initiatives to meet customer expectations and regulatory requirements.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures for new and existing products.
* Participate in design reviews and provide input on quality considerations, including manufacturability, testability, and reliability.
* Conduct root cause analysis for quality issues, implement corrective and preventive actions, and verify their effectiveness.
* Establish and monitor key quality metrics, analyze data, and identify trends to drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the product lifecycle.
* Lead and support internal and external audits, ensuring compliance with relevant quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
* Develop and deliver quality training to various departments as needed.
* Review and approve quality-related documentation, including specifications, test plans, and inspection procedures.
* Stay current with industry best practices and emerging quality technologies.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing) or a related technical field.
* 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100).
* Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, PPAP).
* Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions.
* Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* Strong communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate across all levels of the organization.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* ASQ certifications (CQE, CSSBB) are a plus.
