JOB SUMMARY
This role is responsible for managing complex employee relations matters, conducting investigations into employee complaints, advising managers, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and fostering a positive workplace environment. The position plays a critical role in building a culture of trust, transparency, and engagement across the organization.


I) ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Employee Relations Management

  • Act as a key point of contact for employee relations (ER) matters across the organization.
  • Receive and handle employee complaints, conducting independent, objective, and thorough investigations to verify facts and determine appropriate actions.
  • Mediate and resolve workplace conflicts, including cases involving misconduct, discrimination, harassment, or other workplace disputes.
  • Advise managers on handling employee issues and improving team dynamics.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers on conflict resolution and people management.
  • Identify potential employee relations risks and recommend preventive actions.

2. Policy, Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure company policies and procedures comply with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Review, update, and implement HR policies related to employee conduct and workplace behavior.
  • Participate in ER-related audits to assess risks and propose corrective actions in response to audit findings.

3. Workplace Insights & Continuous Improvement

  • Conduct internal surveys to assess the work environment, analyze results, and collaborate with relevant teams to develop improvement solutions.
  • Track and analyze employee relations trends to identify recurring issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Analyze ER data and provide insights to HR leadership to improve workplace practices and policies.
  • Prepare reports on ER cases and workplace issues for HR leadership.

4. Operational & Project Support

  • Support employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Lead and manage the bidding processes for the team’s projects.
  • Work closely with and oversee onsite vendors to ensure smooth operations and service delivery.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.     

II) JOB QUALIFICATIONS

1. Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
  • A master’s degree or professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR) is preferred.

2. Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Employee Relations or as an HR Generalist with significant ER responsibilities.
  • Proven experience in handling labor disputes, conducting workplace investigations, and advising managers on employee relations matters.
  • Experience working in large enterprises, multinational companies, or organizations with a well-developed employee relations framework is preferred.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work with senior leadership and manage sensitive or complex situations.
