JOB SUMMARY

As a Procurement Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting procurement operations and cross-functional business activities to ensure materials, services, and resources are available when and where they are needed. This position provides administrative and operational support to the Procurement team while partnering with multiple departments to drive efficient purchasing processes, inventory accuracy, equipment maintenance coordination, facility initiatives, and operational continuity.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support procurement activities by preparing and issuing Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and organizing supplier quotations for review and analysis.
  • Assist procurement team members with purchasing activities to support customer sales, repair, and operational requirements.
  • Create, process, and maintain purchase orders for direct materials, indirect materials, tooling, maintenance, repair services, and other business needs.
  • Support Bill of Materials (BOM) purchasing activities to ensure timely availability of required components.
  • Maintain inventory-related data and assist with inventory management initiatives to support operational objectives.
  • Provide administrative and transactional support to Procurement Buyers, including data entry, supplier information maintenance, pricing updates, virtual inventory management, and system record accuracy.
  • Coordinate equipment and machine maintenance service requests in partnership with production leadership and service providers.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across manufacturing, operations, facilities, shipping and receiving, and other functional teams to support business initiatives and continuous improvement projects.
  • Assist in the planning and coordination of company events and facility-related improvement activities.
  • Provide backup support for shipping and receiving operations, as required.
  • Gather and analyze information to support procurement decisions, recommendations, and special projects.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, quality standards, and applicable business requirements.
  • Participate in continuous improvement activities that enhance efficiency, service levels, and operational effectiveness.

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with ERP systems and account management databases preferred; Epicor experience is a plus.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, inventory management, customer service, or administrative support preferred.
  • Manufacturing environment experience is a plus.

The hourly pay range for this role is $20.77 - $37.36. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
