JOB SUMMARY

The purpose of the job is to deploy automation solution machine into the area of assignment, e.g., Mechanical / Electrical & Electronics / Software / Robotic application. The Automation Deployment Engineer reviews and analyzes project requirements, specification, plan, and installation.

Position is responsible for deployment and buyoff an automation equipment to ensure stipulated specification and requirements are met, and delivered within on time.Position lead Automation sustaining team of respective area of automation equipment performance and technical issues of automation equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Review the designs of automation equipment with Design Engineer in respective areas of design for manufacturability and friendly user to machine owner.

·         Works closely with Project Engineer & Design Engineer to meet project time line.

·         Reviews, understands and interprets requirements/specification accurately for integration into design of equipment.

·         Arrange with vendor and internal team for the equipment deployment into production area.

·         Arrange with internal team for the machine buyoff.

·         Review machine design FMEA & risk assessment with Project Engineer & machine owner.

·         Review & record design drawings, user manual, machine PM manual, spare list from vendor.

·         Work with Automation Admin for spare list to update to MRO system.

·         Arrange vendor training to sustaining team and machine owner.

·         Buyoff Automation equipment PM check list.

·         Automation equipment vendor management for Automation equipment support.

·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Knowledge skill in automation project management.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

·         B.Sc. in Mechanical or Electronics/Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics Eng.

·         Minimum 3-5 years of working experiences in automation equipment design and installation.

·         Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience.

·         Knowledge skill in automation project management.

·         Functional knowledge of mechanical/electronics/electrical/software application engineering.

·         Functional knowledge of EMS industries.

·         Functional knowledge of automation equipment assembly and installation.

·         Advance PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil's software packages.

·         Ability to define problems collects data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.

·         Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

·         Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.

·         Occasional travel may be required.
