How Will You Make an Impact?

The Quality Technician 3 plays a critical role in ensuring product quality and compliance across manufacturing processes at Jabil. This position supports operational excellence by conducting inspections, performing quality testing, and identifying non-conforming materials to protect product integrity. By contributing to root cause investigations and corrective actions, this role directly impacts continuous improvement initiatives and overall product reliability. The technician collaborates closely with production teams to uphold quality standards and promote a strong culture of quality throughout the facility. This role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction and ensuring adherence to internal and external quality requirements.

Location: On-site with one of Jabil’s Florence, KY facilities located in the Cincinnati Northern KY. area. Our Florence, KY site supports high-growth AI and cloud infrastructure customers, spanning server and rack integration, and datacenter where quality, speed, and traceability are essential.

Shift: 401 Shift A – Sunday–Tuesday, every other Wednesday, 5:00 AM to 4:30 PM

What Will You Do?

  • Conduct visual inspections and dimensional checks on incoming, in-process, and finished products

  • Perform quality control tests using appropriate tools and equipment

  • Document inspection and test results accurately and thoroughly

  • Identify and isolate non-conforming materials

  • Initiate and track material disposition activities

  • Assist in root cause analysis investigations for quality issues

  • Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)

  • Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality concerns

  • Maintain detailed quality documentation and records

  • Communicate quality-related information to internal and external stakeholders

  • Assist in training new employees on quality procedures and standards

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process enhancements

  • Support development and updates of quality documentation

  • Lead or participate in small quality-related projects

How Will You Get Here?

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED preferred not required or equivalent experience.

  • Additional technical or quality-related training preferred.

Experience

  • Proven experience in Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) within a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with inspection tools, testing processes, and quality documentation

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong ability to interpret visual aids, blueprints, and specifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and quality management systems

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Effective problem-solving and analytical abilities

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

  • Demonstrated leadership capability and ability to influence others

  • Understanding of quality standards and manufacturing processes

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience leading small quality projects or initiatives

  • Previous experience supporting CAPA processes

  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)
