Summary:

The MRB Supervisor at Jabil Inc. is responsible for leading and overseeing the Material Review Board (MRB) process, ensuring timely and effective disposition of non-conforming materials and products. This role is critical in maintaining quality standards, minimizing scrap, and supporting efficient manufacturing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

* Supervise and lead a team of MRB Coordinators, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
* Facilitate and chair MRB meetings, ensuring all relevant stakeholders (engineering, quality, production, supply chain) are involved in the disposition process.
* Review and analyze non-conforming material reports (NCMRs), identifying root causes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
* Ensure timely and accurate disposition of non-conforming materials, including rework, repair, scrap, or return to vendor, in accordance with established procedures and quality standards.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all MRB activities, dispositions, and associated costs.
* Monitor and report on key MRB metrics, such as cycle time, scrap rates, and cost of poor quality, identifying trends and recommending improvements.
* Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to develop and revise inspection criteria, work instructions, and quality control plans.
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the MRB process to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and improve overall product quality.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
* Act as a technical resource for complex non-conformance issues, providing expertise and guidance.

Job Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role related to quality, inspection, or material review.
* Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, AS9100) and lean manufacturing principles.
* Proven experience with Material Review Board (MRB) processes and non-conformance management.
* Demonstrated ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
* Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
* Proficiency in using quality tools and methodologies (e.g., 8D, FMEA, SPC).
* Experience with MS Excel, ERP (SAP) systems and quality management software is highly desirable.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic manufacturing environment.
