Job Summary
Maintenance Technician II is responsible for repairing, adjusting, and maintaining facility equipment and systems. This role requires a proactive, hands-on contributor who is committed to continuous improvement and finding effective solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical, painting, and carpentry repairs on facility fixtures and equipment.
• Install, relocate, and recommission new or existing equipment as needed.
• Maintain and repair air compressors, air dryers, and vacuum systems that support production operations.
• Complete basic engineering calculations related to new equipment installations.
• Update mechanical drawings and prints to reflect approved changes.
• Service and maintain HVAC and ventilation systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
• Provide recommendations to the supervisor for equipment upgrades and process improvements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records for assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform routine inspections to identify maintenance needs.
• Execute preventive maintenance activities and ensure all required documentation is completed accurately.
• Follow all applicable health, safety, and environmental requirements.
• Adhere to company security policies and established procedures.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required
• 3-5 years experience; or demonstrated skills required to perform the job
• Hands-on experience with warehouse equipment, basic electrical work, lighting systems, equipment installation, assembly, and general repairs.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and apply basic engineering principles to identify solutions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems, including maintaining records, completing reports, and ordering parts.
• Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond effectively to maintenance needs.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a fast-paced and growing maintenance environment.
