Leadand manage the BMC Firmware department for in-house design Server and Storage Products in Jabil’s Cloud, Enterprise, and Infrastructure business.

What Will You Do?--

• • Own New Product IntroductionandSustainingsoftwaresolutionswhichutilizeboth AMI SWbase codeand JabilOpenBMCFW. 

  • Evaluate technical feasibilityand implementation strategy forindustry standardcapabilities,customer requirementsand Jabil value add features.

  • Drive new project RFQ, HLD, LLDevaluationand the SW organization's feature implementations.

  • Focus onpreventing andmovingissuediscovery to the left for higher quality and faster code deliverables.

  • Coach and enableengineersinfixingcomplexdefects, including functional, performanceand security issues, effectively during development.

  • Clarify and resolve field issues from manufacturing and internal/external customerswith high priority.

  • Provideequipment,prototype andresourcerequirements for project planning and cost summaries. 

  • Work withdirectorto build up the group,maintainand improve the team competenciesand processesaccording tocompany’sbusiness requirements.

  • Understand andutilizeAIapplicationsto improve SW quality anddevelopmentefficiency.

  • Support detailed technical dialogue with key stakeholders such as the customer system engineering team.
    

How Will You Get There?-

• Education: 

  • B.A./B.S.in Software Engineering or IT related fields isrequired

  • An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

• Experience:

  • 8 years software development experience, including at least 4 years management experience isrequired

  • Proficiencyin embedded software developmentprocessand methods; successfulexperience in product development and team management.

  • Software development experiencerequiredin at least one of these areas and preferably more than one: telecom, data-com,security,PC/server/storage, consumer electronics.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Master's Degree is a plus

• Fluency in Mandarin preferred
