Job Summary**

Jabil, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Quality Technician I to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring product quality and manufacturing process adherence through testing, inspection, and data analysis.

Job Responsibilities**

  • Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
  • Document and report quality issues, defects, and nonconformances identified during inspection activities.
  • Assist in product and process audits to verify compliance with established procedures and specifications.
  • Collect and review inspection data, helping identify trends and deviations from quality standards.
  • Support the maintenance of quality documentation, including work instructions, inspection records, and quality reports.
  • Verify that measuring and test equipment are within their required calibration periods.
  • Assist with First Article Inspection (FAI) documentation and other quality records as required.
  • Follow quality procedures, inspection methods, and company policies to ensure consistent product quality.
  • Support corrective and preventive action activities by providing inspection data and documentation.
  • Work closely with production and quality personnel to help maintain product quality and customer satisfaction.

    Job Qualifications**

    * High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical field preferred.
    * Previous experience in a quality control or manufacturing environment is a plus.
    * Familiarity with quality control principles, testing methodologies, and measurement tools.
    * Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
    * Basic understanding of statistical process control (SPC) is desirable.
    * Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    * Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
