JOB SUMMARY

Jabil is seeking a driven and collaborative Project Manager II to join our Legal and Compliance organization and help advance the evolution of our global Compliance Office. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-impact initiatives that strengthen governance, enhance enterprise risk visibility, and support compliance excellence across our global organization. This role sits within the Program and Policy Office and reports to the Sr. Program Management Manager.

As part of the Program and Policy Office, this role partners closely with compliance leaders and subject matter experts to translate strategy into structured execution. You will help lead strategic projects spanning Enterprise Risk Management, policy governance, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS), Ethics & Integrity Hotline, and Global Trade & Regulatory Compliance.

This position offers meaningful exposure to enterprise-level initiatives in a complex, global environment. The ideal candidate thrives in matrixed organizations, enjoys working cross-functionally across regions and functions, and demonstrates the ability to influence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.

LOCATION

This role will be based on-site at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Headquarters.

This role will:

  • Collaborate with project leads and subject matter experts to define scope, objectives, and execution plans

  • Manage the planning and implementation of strategic compliance and risk initiatives

  • Establish structured project governance, including timelines, milestones, risk tracking, and reporting dashboards

  • Contribute to the development of project management standards, tools, and reporting routines within the Compliance Office

  • Support stakeholder engagement and change management efforts to ensure successful adoption and sustainable outcomes

Projects may range in scope and complexity and can involve people, process, and technology transformation efforts across the Compliance Office, specific Business Sectors, or global sites. This role requires a highly organized and collaborative project manager who thrives in a global, matrixed environment and is comfortable influencing stakeholders across functions and regions without direct authority.

In this role, you will build a strong internal network and play a key part in driving enterprise-wide change.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Define concise goals and objectives within a project framework.
· Ensure all project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and properly translated for execution.
· Define and recognize project Key Performance Indicators and manage the work within scope, quality, time and cost constraints.
· Conduct project risk reviews and appropriate mitigation.
· Facilitate communication as appropriate to all involved and "manage" the stakeholders. This includes escalating issues to the next level of management.
· Manage the overall budget of assigned projects.
· Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve team objectives.
· Develop and own project plans, establishing a road map with clear dates and clear deliverables.
· Provide regular project updates to project team, relevant departments, stakeholders, project champions and senior leadership as needed.
· Work with stakeholders to define project road maps and deliverables.
· Clarify and communicate project objectives and success criteria.
· Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately.
· Responsible for managing cross-divisional / cross-functional / cross-cultural teams.
· Build and structure integrated teams to ensure maximum performance; provide direction and motivation.
· Mentor and coach project team members. Give and receive both written and verbal feedback.
· Identify and prepare proposals that close gaps and mitigate risk.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
· Ability to form and lead strong multi-functional teams to achieve company and customer (internal or external) objectives.
· Organize verbal and written ideas clearly and use an appropriate business style.
· Ability to effectively present information to management.

· Ability to respond in a timely fashion to common inquiries or complaints.
· Demonstrate high performance orientation, detail orientation, market knowledge and sound judgment.
· Demonstrate ability to build and leverage partnerships, implement change and manage projects.
· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail skills required.
· Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages in an integrated system such as SAP.


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field required.
· Minimum of 3-5 years of prior experience in project management in an applicable discipline.
· Previous experience in electronic manufacturing services and/or compliance or risk management is a plus.
· PMP Certification preferred.
· Or an equivalent combination of education, experience and / or training.
