The Employee Engagement Specialist supports the development and management of initiatives that enhance employee engagement, well‑being, and overall experience. This role supports Jabil’s Enterprise HR team, with a dedicated focus on Community, Culture & Belonging and Recognition, partnering with internal stakeholders across levels, functions, and global locations to deliver programs that strengthen organizational culture, improve engagement and retention, and promote a thriving workplace.
Additional job description:
- Manage large-scale global employee programs, engage with employees at all levels, representing multiple locations and functions.
- Assist global locations in coordinating and implementing community outreach/employee volunteer activities and maintain accurate, complete and up-to-date reports for global community outreach activities.
- For the St. Petersburg campus, collaborate with internal stakeholders and non-profit organizations, coordinate employee volunteer activities; assess company’s community outreach activities and identify potential areas of increased effectiveness, efficiency and value-add to provide maximum return.
- Support the expansion and scale of Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) by leveraging established frameworks, partnering with key stakeholders, and equipping ERG leaders with best practices, tools, and coaching to deliver consistent, high‑impact programming and events.
- Assist with planning and executing in-person special events, including logistics, scheduling, and vendor coordination; track budgets, manage event documentation, and support communications; coordinate on-site event execution and troubleshoot issues as needed; and support post-event reporting and continuous program improvement.
- Translate complex information into clear, concise, and engaging content (emails, presentations, organizational initiatives, web pages) tailored to diverse internal audiences, including employees and senior leadership, to ensure clear and consistent messaging across the organization.
- Utilize strong organizational, communication, and project management skills; work independently on the execution of projects and deliverables and has experience developing, overseeing, and managing programs or projects.
- In-person delivery of program updates, onboarding sessions, or internal presentations to employee groups, assuring information is communicated clearly and effectively.
- May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Job Qualifications Knowledge Requirements
- Software: strong proficiency in MS Office products (Outlook, PPT, Forms, Excel, Teams/Teams Live, Sharepoint); Canva and Adobe Creative Suite (optional)
- Experience in data analytics and problem-solving with the ability to anticipate opportunities and provide practical solutions
- Highly organized / multi-project coordination in a fast-paced, global environment; ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgement in stressful situations
- Attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving
- Track and monitor deliverables, report on project progress to stake holders
- Ability to accomplish tasks with little instruction provided
- Self-starter who takes initiative
- Strong people‑focused approach, with the ability to build trusted partnerships, collaborate cross‑functionally, and communicate effectively with senior leaders and a global audience.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, organizational behavior, social sciences or related field
- 5-8 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience with internal employee-centric programs / communications is preferred
