Commercial Finance Director – Jabil Corporate

Based Onsite in St. Petersburg, FL

The Commercial Finance Director serves as a strategic finance leader and trusted partner to Procurement, Supply Chain, and Business Unit Leadership. This role is responsible for driving financial performance, shaping sourcing and commercial strategies, and ensuring strong financial oversight across procurement-driven product groups and supplier portfolios.

What You'll Do

  • Serve as a senior financial advisor to Procurement and business leadership, providing insight on supplier economics, cost structures, and commercial tradeoffs.
  • Partner with Procurement to evaluate supplier contracts, pricing models, sourcing strategies, and cost drivers to improve margin, cash flow, and risk management.
  • Lead financial analysis of commodity trends, supplier performance, and market dynamics to support strategic decision-making.
  • Review forecasts, identify risks and opportunities, and provide recommendations that drive long-term financial performance.
  • Support quoting activities, cost modeling, should-cost analysis, and strategic sourcing initiatives.
  • Drive improvements in Core Operating Income, working capital, inventory performance, and procurement-related financial metrics.
  • Lead financial planning, forecasting, and performance reviews tied to procurement and supply chain objectives.
  • Develop and enhance KPIs that measure supplier performance, procurement effectiveness, and cost competitiveness.
  • Provide financial leadership for sourcing events, contract negotiations, business cases, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to improve material cost accuracy, supplier governance, and overall financial visibility.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, reporting enhancements, and stronger analytical capabilities.
  • Present financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Mentor and influence team members while driving a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

Knowledge & Skill Requirements

  • Strong commercial finance, procurement finance, or supply chain finance experience within a complex manufacturing environment.
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and drive strategic decision-making through financial insights.
  • Deep understanding of supplier economics, contract structures, material cost management, and sourcing strategies.
  • Advanced financial modeling, forecasting, and business-case development skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and presentation abilities.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive cross-functional alignment and results.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree required; Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • MBA, CPA, CMA, or other advanced finance certification preferred.
  • 12–15+ years of progressive finance experience, ideally within procurement finance, supply chain finance, commercial finance, or FP&A in a large, complex organization.
  • Experience partnering with senior business leaders to drive financial and operational performance.
  • Strong forecasting, planning, and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing business strategy through data-driven recommendations.
