SUMMARY
Provides administrative and technical support to the Quality Engineer. Works independently at covering quality
processes and quality assurance activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
! Prepares and maintains process documentation and work instructions
! Prepares calibration tracking list and tracks to ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated.
! Supports GR&R process.
! Understands and monitors scheduled in-process SPC and makes ordinary data collection and statistics for
quality problem discovery by process trial run.
! Creates and maintains inspection plans, logs, and reports.
! Makes quality reports based on MES operation, functionalities, production data, and reporting.
! Compiles reports using information gathered from quality, manufacturing, and research projects
! Drives corrective and preventive actions based on Corrective Action Reports (CARs) for different areas:
customer, internal and supplier.
! Attends CAC meetings to follow up or verify corrective actions.
! Collects data and inputs regularly scheduled and/ad hoc reports
! Verifies VA/WI and QP/PCP conformance
! Inspects, measures, and tests mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical components and assemblies.
! Verifies material conformance to specifications. Interprets company and industrial specifications.
! Gathers and maintains specific records of technical data related to materials, tools, fixtures and processes used
in company.
! Develops measurement processes.
! Collects and analyzes data using statistical analysis methods.
! Drives and coordinate corrective actions based on process audits discrepancies.
! Provide strong leadership to the work-cell in activities relating to product quality.
! Represent the quality function within manufacturing as the technical advisor on workmanship standards and
quality system.
! Champion the process control effort as related to the proper use of control charts, check lists, visual aids and
other documentation on the manufacturing floor.
! Support the resolution of material issues as required by working with receiving inspection personnel.
! Monitor trends in quality data (yields, defects per million, scrap, corrective actions) to identify continual
improvement opportunities.
! Provides accurate, timely feedback of production issues to the workcell teams.
! Escalates issues and declining trends to the appropriate personnel for resolution.
! Supports OBA as necessary.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Technical certification in Engineering with at least one year experience in a similar industry.

The hourly pay range for this role is $27.16 - $48.94. Job-related, non-discriminatory factors used to determine the actual offered rate include qualifications and experience, geographic location, education, external market data, and consideration of internal equity.
