JOB SUMMARY
The Project & Facilities Systems Principal is responsible for leading and executing multidisciplinary projects, including
new NPI & Building Fit-Out, electrical systems, automation systems, energy efficiency, and sustainability initiatives. This
role ensures project objectives are properly defined, translated into actionable plans, and executed within scope, time,
cost, and quality constraints, while aligning with corporate strategy and customer expectations
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
· Lead and oversee Facility-related projects, including NPI Project & Building Fit-Outs, electrical systems (oil
analysis, panel thermography), automation systems (HVAC, BMS, metering, solar panels, compressed air), and
overall infrastructure upgrades.
· Responsible for ensuring all the project requirements and/or objectives are correctly gathered, understood and
properly translated for execution.
· Gather, analyze, and translate requirements into actionable execution plans, ensuring alignment with internal and
external stakeholders.
· Obtain and summarize current project information and milestone status versus project performance baseline
· Drive project/program tasks to completion in accordance with the project schedule
· Build, guide, and motivate multidisciplinary project teams, providing leadership to achieve objectives and
corporate initiatives.
· Develop and manage integrated project plans, risk assessments, mitigation strategies, schedules, and Key
Performance Indicators (KPIs).
· Ensure effective financial management, including cost analysis, forecasting, and oversight of Capital Expenditure
Requests (CERs), training, travel, and other project-related expenses.
· Responsible for forecasting project budget and HR needs for current and future site needs
· Accountable for overall project success - including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management.
· Report on project status, issues and implemented solutions as well as evaluations and assessments of the results
· Provide leaders with updates, including greatest opportunities for improvement
· Identify the best cost solutions to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems (i.e. modification of
responsibilities or consolidation of tasks, elimination of non-value-added processes, or complete re-engineering of
processes and systems).
· Provide key stakeholders with regular project performance status, variances to plan, and identification of
corrective actions (if required).
· Drive energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives, including energy-saving programs, consumption reporting,
and continuous improvement in energy quality.
· Coach others through difficult decision-making situations
· Ensure compliance with Quality Assurance processes, audits, and corporate standards.
· Act as primary liaison with customers, vendors, sponsors, and stakeholders, ensuring clear and effective
communication tailored to diverse audiences.
· Provide regular status reports, identifying risks, corrective actions, and opportunities for improvement. Working
closely with communications, stakeholders, and management to stay informed of important company information
to evaluate and measure program effectiveness and impact on the business
· Promote best practices, innovation, and knowledge-sharing across departments and enterprise-level projects.
· Ensure strict adherence to Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) programs, supporting a zero-accident culture.
· Demonstrate commitment to customer service by anticipating needs, resolving issues effectively, and fostering
long-term stakeholder trust.
· Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy.
· May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS
· Project Management knowledge
· Job is responsible for collaborating with employees in all Jabil facilities and job roles to achieve the desired
results
· Proficiency in use of personal computers, Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and e-mail
skills required
· Industrial Automation, BMS Platform, SCADA, CMMS, Facility Critical Equipment Knowledge is required
· Knowledge of energy quality is essential.
· Knowledge about LEED certification (desirable, not essential)
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
· A bachelor’s degree in Electronic, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field is required.
· Minimum 7 (seven) years of work-related experience required in Facility Project Implementation or related
disciplines; preferably within Healthcare Companies, Manufacturing, Industrial, or high-technology environments
· Or an equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience.
· English / Technical English: Advanced Level
· Industrial Automation, BMS Platform, SCADA, CMMS, Facility Critical Equipment experience is required
· Professional certifications or equivalent are highly desirable
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Regular business hours. Some additional hours may be required.
· Travel requirements: Domestic and/or International: Up to 25%.
· Climate controlled office environment during normal business hours.
