Establishes and maintains quality control standards and procedures for an injection molding–related area or segment. Coordinates scheduling and control of Quality resources, inspection activities, and compliance requirements as specified by raw materials, components, product and packaging specifications, and regulatory agencies. Manages ongoing regulatory compliance for the assigned area or segment, including quality systems and customer requirements. Manages quality resources and functions related to projects and customer needs.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA QSR Part 820, ISO 13485, and other applicable regulatory bodies.
  • Implement and support required policies and procedures for the Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Ensure compliance with Customer Quality Agreements, as applicable.
  • Implement, control, improve, and report Quality performance metrics.
  • Support external and internal audits.
  • Ensure that all direct-report personnel are properly trained.
  • Supervise and coordinate the Quality Engineering function.
  • Plan and control projects related to the Quality function.
  • Ensure that the validated state is maintained throughout any decision-making process.
  • Monitor cost of quality (internal and external) and develop appropriate action plans.
  • Coordinate departmental activities.
  • Ensure performance and continuous improvement of the measurement system.
  • Support all programs and initiatives related to the Code of Ethics, Jabil Healthcare Values, and sustainability programs.
  • Support all Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) and Quality Program initiatives. Understand and implement the Quality Policy.
  • Complete all training requirements in accordance with the Training Matrix and Quality Management System, including trainings identified through training needs assessments, and attend all required training sessions.
  • Other duties may be assigned from time to time as required, depending on business needs and the evolution of the company and department/position.
