JOB SUMMARY

To assist IQC on technical support for the materials incoming inspection. Monitor IQC inspection equipment / gauge calibration and maintenance status. Work with SQE and workcell engineers to handle the incoming quality issues related to IQC and take preventative actions if possible.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Provide technical support to IQC technicians and inspectors.
·         Support on SAP system issue about IQC internally.
·         Support other parties (ME, QE etc) on material dimension / function verification.
·         Work with related parties (SQE, workcell, QE/ME etc) to improve incoming performance by reducing those non-quality related QN (quality notification).
·         To assure the equipment / tool used in IQC are in proper status.
·         Provide training to IQC technician, leader and inspector where necessary.
·         To deal with workcell complaints about IQC problem, provide valuable input to IQC and take actions when necessary.
·         May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS

·         Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
·         Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
·         Ability to operate a personal computer including using a Windows based operating system and related software.
·         Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages.
·         Ability to write simple correspondence. Read and understand visual aid.
·         Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions.
·         Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
·         Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
·         Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
·         Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret graphs
