Job Summary**

The Quality Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. supports quality assurance activities, ensuring product and process compliance with established standards and specifications. This role involves assisting in the implementation and maintenance of quality systems and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Job Responsibilities**

* Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of quality control procedures and documentation.
* Conduct inspections and tests on incoming materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure adherence to quality standards.
* Document and report non-conformances, participate in root cause analysis, and support the implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
* Collect and analyze quality data, preparing reports and presenting findings to senior quality engineers or management.
* Support internal and external audits by gathering data and documentation.
* Collaborate with production, engineering, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues and improve processes.
* Participate in the training of production personnel on quality standards and procedures.
* Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and quality system activities.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and systems.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field) or a technical diploma with equivalent experience.
* 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
* Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
* Familiarity with quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, 8D).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
* Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
