Job Summary

The Production Planning Jr. Engineer will support the planning and scheduling of manufacturing operations, ensuring efficient material flow and production execution to meet customer demands. Job Responsibilities

* Assist in the development and implementation of production plans and schedules, considering material availability, capacity constraints, and customer requirements.
* Monitor production progress and identify potential delays or bottlenecks, escalating issues to senior planners and proposing solutions.
* Support the analysis of production data to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure seamless execution of production plans.
* Maintain accurate records of production schedules, material movements, and inventory levels.
* Participate in inventory management activities, including demand forecasting and material planning.
* Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning processes and systems.
* Prepare reports and presentations on production planning metrics and performance.
* Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related technical field.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain principles (internship or project experience preferred).
* Eagerness to learn and develop new skills in production planning and scheduling.
