Job Summary:**

The Assembly Jr. Engineer at Jabil, Inc. supports the manufacturing process by assisting in the design, development, and optimization of assembly procedures and equipment, ensuring high-quality and efficient production.

Job Responsibilities:**

* Assist in the development and implementation of new assembly processes and procedures.
* Support the design, build, and validation of assembly tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
* Perform time studies and analyze production data to identify areas for process improvement and cost reduction.
* Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for assembly-related issues.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, Quality, and Production, to ensure smooth product launches.
* Document assembly instructions, process flows, and engineering specifications.
* Provide technical support and training to assembly operators.
* Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Job Qualifications:**

* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field.
* 0-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment (internship experience is a plus).
* Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and quality control methodologies.
* Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is preferred.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
